During this workshop, we will explore the path of creative expression through the gift of words. Using writing prompts and exercises, we will play with ideas, with words, and listen to what really wants to be written from within ourselves. The prompts and exercises will encourage spontaneity, a willingness to let go of criticism, and focus on what we like about our and others' writing, while also cultivating self-expression that is insightful and honoring that wise place within us. Open to all writers (and yes, everyone is a writer…) regardless of writing experience, age, ethnicity, educational background, or genre interest. Be prepared to free up your creative spirit! Laugh, learn, play and celebrate your voice…
This workshop uses the Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) method (www.amherstwriters.com) and is led by Joanne Scharer, an AWA certified workshop leader/coach and affiliate. If you'd like more information or are simply curious, contact Joanne Scharer at 503-409-9910 or joanne@allwritingmatters.com
