Wilsonville’s Northwest Author Series Kicks Off Fourth Season

September 19, 2010 – Wilsonville, Oregon – Children’s author and illustrator Nicole Rubel of Aurora kicks off the 2010 - 2011 Northwest Author Series on September 19th at the Wilsonville Public Library. Her presentation, “Find Your Voice: Use It In A Children’s Book,” takes place in the Oak Room from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $5.00 or $3.00 for seniors/students. No advance registration is required.

Nicole Rubel is an author and illustrator known for her uniquely colorful illustrations and charming stories. She has over sixty books to her credit and is the co-creator of the popular Rotten Ralph series, which has sold more than one and a half million copies. Her work has garnered awards from The American Book Association, The American Institute of Graphic Arts, and American Booksellers. She currently resides with her husband on a farm in Aurora, Oregon.

May 15, 2011: Eric M. Witchey – The Short Story: Write It & Sell It In 90 Minutes

Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author after each presentation. The series is sponsored by The Wilsonville Public Library and the Friends of the Wilsonville Library and is hosted by Wilsonville Author Christina Katz. Refreshments will be provided by Starbucks and Lamb’s Thriftway.
